The starting point was the Art Nouveau exhibition of the MKG Hamburg. Working in a team with a fellow student, we developed the augmented reality application »Ekstase«. We dealt with the dancer Loïe Fuller and her innovative play of movement, light and materiality and reinterpreted it in order to create an immersive experience for the viewer. You become the center of a circular movement that rotates around it in several axes – just like the silk scarves of the revolutionary dancer. We worked with Cinema 4D, the game engine Unity and Xcode. We documented our process, Loïe Fullers life and impact on the development of dancing at the beginning of the 20th century in two booklets.
